Mitch Empleo-Ventura's early works were mostly about womanly preoccupations that convey a sense of mystery. By her curiosity on why flowers are mostly associated with the female figure, Mitch E.V., discovered religious and mythological references. Most of her subjects during her early years in art were women, motherhood, the joys of birth, and flowers.
