Collection: Visual Perception 2019
“Visual Perception” is a series of visual designs and experimental works about human cognition and its effect on any design (and vice versa), expressed through prints, and applied arts in fashion. This Mitch E.V. art-to-wear collection (exhibited at the runway of Manhattan Fashion Week in NYC 2019) and Giclée Art Prints Series on Museum-Grade Papers are compositions of fabric manipulations, use of stereoscopic images, 3d imprints through doodling, digital printed images, dots and lines in moire effect and some sort of visual illusion.
It is actually the brain that sees and creates our reality. Perception is more than just a sensation. It is the process of selecting, organizing and interpreting the information brought to the brain by the senses especially by sight. Perception gives us the ability to make sense out of the sensations.
Some may just see the prints as flat images, but the brain perceives the illusion of volume and depth through placement of the printed visual elements creating an extra dimension of the image.
"Visual Perception" Giclée Art Print Series is a limited edition collection of 6 (six) different artworks, chop marked, mounted on acid-free mat board, hand signed by the artist, and with Certificate of Authenticity per artwork. Available for acquisition, individually or by set of 6 different artworks.
